​Welcome to First Grade!

This year we will be learning many basics of the Catholic Church, including how to make the sign of the cross, memorizing prayers (including the Our Father, Hail Mary and the Glory Be), the church calendar, what the sacraments are and who the Holy Trinity is.

THEME: God is our Father who loves us. Jesus is the son of God who tels us about our Father. The Hoy Spirit helps us to be holy.

OBJECTIVE: To develop an awareness of God the Creator, who gives us life and grace and promises us eternal life through Jesus.
