Father Cyprien Emile, 54, of Haiti was assigned to  St. Joseph and St. Boniface parish in Spring Valley before he came to St. Joseph's as parochial vicar in 2018.

Ordained in 2003 in the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince, his previous assignment was at Our Lady of Grace, the Bronx.
